Use your own words to make a free large-print puzzle for a classroom, activity group, or quiet break. The generator prepares a puzzle and a separate answer page; no account is needed.

Generate and check both pages
Choose the difficulty, print size, and paper, then select Generate puzzle. Use Puzzle and Answer to check the grid and its solution. After changing words, select Update puzzle.
Print or save a PDF
Select Print / PDF and choose a printer or Save as PDF. Match US Letter or A4, use 100% scale, and turn off browser headers and footers. Page 1 is the puzzle; page 2 is the answer key.

Can I make a word search with my own words?
Yes. Enter 3–24 words, one per line or separated by commas, then choose Generate puzzle. Use English letters and 2–18 letters per word. If you edit the list later, choose Update puzzle before printing or sharing.
How do I save my word search as a PDF?
Generate your puzzle, choose Print / PDF, then select Save as PDF in the print dialog. On macOS, this may appear in the PDF menu. Select US Letter or A4 in the generator first, use 100% scale, and turn off browser headers and footers.
Does the printable include an answer key?
Yes. The generator prints the puzzle first and its answer key on a separate second page. To print only the puzzle, select page 1 in the print dialog; select page 2 for only the answers.
Which settings make the letters easiest to read?
Start with a 10×10 grid and Large or XL print. Use shorter words: a word longer than the chosen grid automatically expands it. A larger grid adds more cells, not larger letters.
What changes when I choose Easy or Hard?
Easy uses across and down only. Classic adds diagonals. Hard also allows backward words in all eight directions.
Does each printable have a Name and Date line?
Yes. The puzzle page includes Name and Date lines for classroom worksheets, group activities, and personal practice.
What does the Share button do?
It copies a link containing your title, words, layout, and print settings. Anyone with the link can open the same puzzle, so avoid including personal or confidential information in a shared word list.
