What makes a word search large print?
A large-print puzzle gives the letters more room on the page, uses strong contrast, and avoids an unnecessarily crowded grid. PrintFind includes Large and Extra large settings so you can choose the reading size instead of forcing every puzzle into the same format.
- 10 × 10 creates the largest cells for a short, easy-to-read list.
- 12 × 12 balances readable letters with more words.
- Extra large increases the letter size for readers who prefer more visual space.
Print on US Letter or A4 paper
Choose US Letter for the common North American page size or A4 for many international printers. The preview follows your selection, and the puzzle and answer key are prepared as separate printable pages.
Make a printable in three steps
Enter a title and your words, choose the grid and print size, then select Generate puzzle. You can preview the puzzle, shuffle the arrangement, view the answer key, and use your browser's Print / PDF option when it looks right.
Useful for worksheets and group activities
The puzzle page includes simple Name and Date lines, so a printed copy can be handed out as a classroom worksheet, activity-group exercise, or personal practice page. The answer key stays separate for the person leading the activity.
Choose the right puzzle size
The best size depends on the length of the word list and the reader's preferred spacing. A shorter list can use a 10 × 10 grid with generous cells. A 12 × 12 grid is a useful everyday choice, while 14 × 14 leaves room for a longer or more challenging activity.
Print a clean page every time
Check the live preview before printing, select the correct paper size, and use 100% scale in the browser print dialog. If you want to reuse the same puzzle later, the Share button creates a link with the word list and layout settings.
